Meet the Plant Queen Making $100K Selling Greenery Online (No, Not That Kind)

Leena Pettigrew tells people she makes over $100K a year selling plants online, and they think, "Oh, cannabis?" But nah, she’s just slinging houseplants out of her Houston garage.

By day, she’s an IT analyst. By night, she’s live streaming plant auctions on Palmstreet, a marketplace for plants and quirky home decor.

In 2023, she pulled in nearly $148K in revenue.

Leena started buying plants in 2022 to spruce up her place. Then she realized, "Why not sell them?"
