28-year-old’s side hustle makes $180 an hour, more than doubling his income:

Carter Osborne was just a regular 28-year-old guy looking to make some extra money on the side.

Little did he know, his little side hustle was about to turn into a full-blown six-figure business!

It all started in 2017 when Carter was working on his master's degree. Being from a family of teachers, he had always enjoyed the college application process.

He decided to use his skills to help high school students with their admissions essays.

After getting some tips from a consultant, Carter's side gig was off and running.

He only had 3 clients that first year, but they must have loved his work because more and more students kept signing up through referrals.

Before he knew it, Carter's side hustle was snowballing into something much bigger than he ever imagined.

In 2021, he helped 40 students with their essays, raking in over $113,000 - more than double his full-time salary!

So what's Carter's secret? For $180 an hour, he takes a hands-on approach to mentoring each student.

He asks questions to help brainstorm meaningful essay topics
Provides feedback and edits while letting students do the actual writing
Walks the ethical line by guiding without doing too much work

Carter has helped students get into their dream schools by drawing out their unique stories and strengths.

Of course, with the intense October-December admission season, Carter often works a staggering 70 hours per week between his day job and side gig.

He's had to be disciplined about taking breaks to avoid burnout.

But thanks to the booming success of his side hustle, Carter could buy a house with his girlfriend and find that ideal work-life balance.

Not too shabby for a regular guy who just wanted to make some extra cash!
